The Punxsutawney Revitalization Group (PRG) is entering its 16th year of providing matching grants for façade improvements to property owners in the commercial districts. The Board of Directors is thrilled with the program's outcomes. Over the past fifteen years, the initiative has awarded just $55,000 in funding, which has led to more than approximately $250,000 in improvements.

 

Although PRG took a two-year hiatus from the program, numerous business owners have expressed a desire to see it reinstated. In light of this and the program's success, PRG is seeking contributions to fund the 16th Façade Improvement Program. Your investment will motivate property owners to make significant improvements in our commercial areas. Historically, this initiative has proven to yield an excellent return on investment for the community, enhancing the town's appeal, modernity, and progressive image.

 

With these positive transformations, we aim to attract new businesses to our community. We are especially excited about the new businesses that have recently joined the downtown business district in Punxsutawney this past year. We look forward to supporting their initiatives and are eager to offer the Façade Improvement Program to help offset some of their façade costs.

Applications for the Facade Improvement Program Program are currently being accepted. Complete applications are due OCTOBER  10TH  to the Punxsutawney Revitalization Group PO Box 298 Punxsutawney PA 15767.
